Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Remembrance Day (TDoR), held annually on November 20th, is an important event for honoring the memory of those lost to anti-transgender violence and raising awareness about issues facing the transgender community. Many cities across the UK host various events in remembrance.

Transgender Remembrance Day Memorial at the Brighton Pier

Description: A more informal, community-led event gathering at Brighton Pier. The group will have candles and will walk along the pier to remember and honor trans lives lost. The event will focus on quiet reflection and unity, with no speeches, just a shared moment of remembrance.

Transgender Remembrance Day Exhibition
