A new year. A new weekly challenge.... and after completing it I can hardly walk. Oh the joys.
The idea this week was to push my physical abilities to their limits! I went down to Cross Fit Central in Manchester where I was put through my paces with weight lifting (no lycra involved), lunging, squatting, rowing, push ups and box jumps.
Simon was the ideal trainer - firm but fair - and with a smile he helped me through the challenge. I always feel like like a kid about to do PE in sports gear and even though I'm not sure I'm suited to a loose jogger, I managed to make it through.

On the topic of physical fitness - I've just found out that I'll be running the London Marathon later this year. In fact - it's in April. Blimey - better get training then. I think I'll start after the weekend. I'm thinking red wine and a bath tonight.
