Featuring exclusive interview highlights with JP from Cash Cash talking about mental heath and music. Graeme Smith chats to Gaydio radio presenter Paris Munro about the launch of their brand new podcast ‘Queer & The Beat’.
Based in Manchester, the queer nonbinary presenter currently hosts the Gaydio Breakfast show weekdays from 7am. They have a passion for music, and love being goofy with their guests on the show. As well as being on the radio, they also host events and stages during pride season, as well as interviewing artists on red carpets - most recently for Gaydio at The Brits. Also a member of The Brits and The Heavy Music Awards voting academies, Paris really wants to help pave the way for marginalised communities in music.
Cash Cash is a US based group from New Jersey. The group consists of three DJs / musicians: brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf, Alex Makhlouf and Samuel Frisch. They produce, record, mix and master all their music together as a trio. The group's highest-charting song to date is their RIAA platinum-certified single "Take Me Home", which features vocals by Bebe Rexha. Throughout their career, they have released a wide range of original songs featuring diverse artists such as, John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, Nelly, Wiz Khalifa, Lukas Graham, Christina Perri, Busta Rhymes, among many more.
